Our Daily Bread receives $12.5K from Duke Energy Foundation to support food assistance in Richmond County

ROCKINGHAM — Our Daily Bread Christian Food Ministry, an organization that provides services to individuals and families who need help with food and nutrition, received a $12,500 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.

Our Daily Bread is one of 39 organizations in North Carolina to collectively receive $1 million in grants from the Duke Energy Foundation. The grants will help meet basic needs as demand for services increase.

“Our Daily Bread Christian Food Ministry is honored to be a recipient of the Duke Foundation Basic Needs Services Capacity Building grant. This support will allow our organization to expand our ability to assist those in the community with critical assistance at critical times. ODB is grateful to Duke Energy for the additional resources to serve and meet the needs in our community,” said Mari Bennett, director.
