RCS Open House Schedule

Depending on which school a student attends, the times of the open house varies. All elementary schools will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.; all middle schools will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students attending Ninth Grade Academy or Ashley Chapel Educational Center can also visit from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Richmond Senior High School students’ open house runs an hour longer, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

All students and their families are encouraged to attend their school Thursday evening.

 

Teachers, principals, faculty and staff will be on hand to welcome rising students, as well as those who are new to the district. At all schools, students can walk the halls to get a layout of the building and meet their teachers. Some schools will already have student schedules available to review.

 

This event is a great way for students of all ages to become acclimated with their surroundings, their new teachers, and gets them excited to return to the classroom on Monday morning.
