CHARLOTTE – Congressional candidate Mark Harris was recently endorsed by the North Carolina Values Coalition, the Family Research Council Action Committee, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, and his wife Beth.  The following press releases addressed each of these announcements.

NC Values Coalition and Family Research Council Action Committee Stand With Mark!

We are honored to have the endorsements of both the NC Values Coalition and Family Research Council Action Committee!  These are two of the most respected groups in the fight to protect the right to life, defend our conservative Christian values, and preserver religious freedom. Mark has stood with these groups in many battles, and now, he is excited and proud to have them standing with him in this battle as May 8th approaches.

Here are some excerpts from what the NC Values Coalition said in their endorsement of Mark:

Since the founding of our coalition, we have had the opportunity to closely work with Mark Harris on every pro-life and pro-family initiative our coalition has advanced in North Carolina. Mark Harris is a determined leader and tireless advocate for conservative family values. He is a man of action, not just empty rhetoric.

Because Mark has marched with us for the dignity of human life, stood with us to defend and protect marriage and the deeply-held religious beliefs of all North Carolinians, supported our efforts to enforce long-standing privacy rights ensuring men and women use separate bathrooms and showers, and advocated for peace in the street with members of our coalition after the Charlotte riots, today the NC Values Coalition is privileged to endorse Mark Harris as the best candidate to represent our coalition members in the North Carolina’s 9th Congressional district.

NC Values Coalition is confident that Mark Harris is the best choice to protect strong family values and individual liberties while advocating for constitutional limited government. Once again, we are pleased to offer our endorsement of his candidacy.

Here some excerpts from the Family Research Council PAC’s endorsement of Mark Harris:

Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with you closely on many important issues affecting North Carolina families. This has allowed us to get to know you and understand what of kind leader you are. We know that if elected, you will be a strong defender of faith, family, and freedom.
We commend the many times you have clearly and definitively stood up for truth on important issues.

Your experience as a pastor has also given you a unique understanding of the challenges American families are facing.

FRC Action PAC is confident that you will be a strong advocate for Constitutional limited government, for individual liberties, and for strong family values. Once again, we are pleased to offer our endorsement of your candidacy.

Endorsement by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee

Last fall, I had the opportunity to spend the day with Mark campaigning around the district and attending a fundraiser for Mark’s campaign that evening.  I was amazed by the support I saw for his campaign.

Mark and Beth are long-time friends of Janet and me. Mark’s not a politician. He’s been a pastor, and he’s a citizen statesman looking to serve and stand for the people in his district, his state, and his nation. I know from personal experience that he’s a man of courage, character, and consistency. That’s why Janet and I are so delighted to endorse him in his campaign for Congress.

We can count on Mark to fight for President Trump’s agenda, to stand up to the establishment, and help drain the swamp.  Mark will stand on principle, and he will work for us, the American people. We need Mark Harris in Congress now more than ever!

Please remember to vote early through May 5th (for info on where and when to vote early click here) or at your normal polling location on Tuesday, May 8th from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

God Bless,
Mike Huckabee

 Endorsement by Beth Harris

Over the last several months you’ve heard from many of our supporters such as Governor Mike Huckabee, Congresswoman Sue Myrick, Senator Dan Bishop, Sheriff Jim Pendergraph and many others about why they stand with Mark Harris. Now, I want to tell you why I stand with Mark Harris on the eve of Election Day. As a citizen of a Republic, I get to choose who best represents me. I get to decide who best takes me to Washington. For me, that man is Mark Harris.

I choose Mark Harris not just for the leader that he is, although he has an impressive resume of leadership positions, but for the man that he is. I have spent more time with him than any other human being for the past 30 years. He isn’t perfect. No one is. But he cares about people. He returns calls. He answers emails. He honors commitments he makes as much as it is humanly possible to do so. He is completely transparent, and he will help a friend if it is within his power. That’s character.

Mark has paid a high price for all of the above traits in the campaign of deception waged by our opponent. It makes you understand why most politicians sit back and say nothing. Mark does not choose silence and inaction. No, Mark is always out front. He is a leader people can count on. He will talk to the media, he will talk respectfully to people with opposing views, and he will talk to the citizens of the 9thdistrict freely, without a press agent running interference for him. That’s courage.
