Ribbon Cutting and Open House at Sandhills AGInnovation Center Set for September 7

Rockingham, N.C. – The Sandhills AGInnovation Center is a facility owned by Richmond County, providing marketing assistance to produce farmers in the region. The center, funded by the county and the Golden LEAF Foundation features coolers, equipment rentals and a processing room. Commonly called a food hub, this facility has been in the planning and development phases for the past three years.

The Ribbon Cutting and Open House will be held on September 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the SAIC located at 1298 Crawford Road in Ellerbe. The public is invited to attend this event and RSVP’s are requested. Please RSVP by calling 910-997-8255 or emailing Susan Kelly at susan_kelly@ncsu.edu.
