HAMLET— Richmond Community College is currently accepting nominations until August 30 for the Outstanding Alumni Award that will be presented this fall at the College’s Convocation.
To be nominated, one must have earned a diploma or associate degree from RichmondCC. This person must also exemplify excellent leadership and have significant community service.
Dr. Hal Shuler, associate dean of development said, “It has been quite some time since we’ve recognized and honored one of our graduates with this award, but the timing is right as we are about to kick off a membership drive for the President’s Club, which is for RichmondCC alumni as well as others in the community who are interested in supporting the College.” Shuler hopes that the Outstanding Alumni Award will help alumni who have made a positive impact in the community, stay connected.
