HAMLET — A seminar titled “Branding Basics” will be offered by the Small Business Center of Richmond Community College on Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cole Auditorium in Hamlet.
Seminar instructor Cyndi Fifield will explain the difference between branding and brand identity, as well as branding and marketing and what people mean when they talk about joining a tribe.
“Branding Basics will break down these questions and more as the class dives into branding, brand identity, importance of color, and how to tell your own story when branding yourself or your company through self-identification and why it matters,” Fifield said.
Fifield, owner of Novae Design Group, picked up many trades as a military spouse and learned to cultivate those skills to sell herself each time she moved to a new location. With degrees in both business and digital media and more than 15 years of experience in marketing, FiField is using her skills and education to help empower other business owners by teaching them to tell their own story through branding and social media.
This is a lunch and learn seminar, so there will be a $5 fee for lunch.
The Richmond Observer’s Cleve Baxley will be in attendance, so catch the full story in Friday’s edition.
