HAMLET — Richmond Community College will remain open for business until further directed by local or state health officials.

“The College has been following guidelines issued by the CDC to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and has implemented many precautions for the safety of its students and employees,” Wiley Bell, director of marketing and communications, said in an email Thursday afternoon.. “Any cancellations of on-campus events will be made in a timely fashion in conjunction with coordinating partners.”

Many other colleges across the state have taken more extreme precautions.
