ROCKINGHAM — Keeping your spending dollars in Richmond County could put $500 back in your pocket.
The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce and Richmond County Economic Development have teamed up for the Merry Merchants and Munch local shopping campaign.
Shoppers and diners have a chance to enter a drawing to win a $500 cash prize by picking up a stamp card from one of the 31 participating businesses and restaurants or at the Chamber office.
Those spending at least $10 at one of the merchants will receive a stamp and those getting stamps from 10 merchants are eligible for the drawing.
All stamp cards must be turned in by Dec. 21 and the drawing will be the following day.
Patrons are also encouraged to take a selfie and post to social media using #shoplocalrichmond or #eatlocalrichmond and tag the Chamber @richmondcountychamber.
