Richmond County Hospice Vehicle Involved in Head-On Collision

ROCKINGHAM— According to a NC Highway Patrol report, two Richmond County residents are recovering from injuries sustained in a head on traffic collision that occurred early morning on Wednesday, July 5.

Josh Richardson of Ellerbe was traveling North on Greenlake Road, while Esmeralda Rodriguez, also of Ellerbe, was traveling South on Greenlake Road. Rodriguez then crossed over the center line and struck Richardson’s truck. She was transported by ambulance to First Health Moore Regional Hospital of Richmond for treatment. Richardson was transported by a family member from the scene to First Health Moore Regional Hospital of Richmond emergency room, where he also received treatment.
