Richmond County Partnership for Children hosting community resource drive-thru

ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond County Partnership for Children is hosting a community resource drive-thru to help the public get better acquainted with the services that are offered.

In addition to the Partnership, several other local organizations will be on-site, including: United Way of Richmond County; the Richmond County Health Department; N.C. Cooperative Extension; New Horizons Life and Family Services; Improving Community Outcomes for Maternal and Child Health; Rockingham Housing Authority; Union County Community Action Inc. Head Start; FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond; and Fiesta Cristiana.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 17 at 115 S. Lawrence St. in Rockingham.

Organizers say there will be a play area for children, as well as “cool treats” for the first 15 kids who come.
