Richmond County Schools Announces 9th Annual “Stuff A Bus” Event

Richmond County Schools will host the 9th Annual “Stuff the Bus” event on Friday, August 25th, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Walmart in Rockingham.

Per RCS’ public information officer Briana Goins, RCS will be collecting school supplies to distribute to students in need upon the start of school. No supplies will be distributed on this day, the bus is strictly a collection site on the 25th. The bus will also appear at the Raider Stadium that evening to collect any additional donations.

The United States Postal Service will hold its annual school supply collection day on Saturday, August 19th. Anyone can leave schools supplies by their mailbox for their carrier to collect and all supplies will be delivered to Richmond County Schools for distribution to students.
