ROCKINGHAM — For the second time in as many days, a Richmond law enforcement is asking for help locating a missing person.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday issued a Silver Alert for 70-year-old Trudy Lowery McCarter.-
She was last seen Sunday, Feb. 16 at her at her Lowery Lane home.
McCarter is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, according to the alert.
She is believed to be driving a blue 2012 Ford Explorer XLT with damage on the driver’s side, displaying the registration plate: BBT-7512.
Investigators say there is no foul play expected and that McCarter has had recent health and other physical issues. They say she has family in the Wilmington area and could be heading that way.
