ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing teen.
According to a post made to the RCSO Facebook page Tuesday night, 17-year-old Bryson George Butler was last seen earlier in the day.
Deputies say Butler was spotted south of Ellerbe heading toward Rockingham, wearing a pink hoodie and carrying a black backpack.

Butler is described as a white male, standing six feet tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He has sandy blonde hair and green eyes.
According to deputies, Butler is known to frequent the East Rockingham area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
