ROCKINGHAM — Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery at a local gas station.
Investigators with the Rockingham Police Department say a suspect walked into the Alco No. 14, at 1410 Fayetteville Road, around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect allegedly presented a weapon and left the store with an unspecified amount of money.
Officers are checking out new leads in the ongoing investigation and police were unable to release any more details about the case Tuesday afternoon.
