Rockingham Police search for missing juvenile

ROCKINGHAM — Police are currently searching for a missing juvenile in Rockingham.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the search for a child who reportedly ran away from the Department of Social Services, according to Sheriff James Clemmons.

No descriptive or other information is currently available.

A robo-call was sent out to home phones around 12:30 a.m. from Richmond County Emergency Communications.

The alert does not yet appear on the state or national Amber Alert websites, nor on the Rockingham Police Department or Richmond County Emergency Services social media pages.
