ROCKINGHAM — Police are warning residents to be wary of a man posing as a city worker.
The Rockingham Police Department posted an alert on its Facebook page Tuesday night about a man visiting a home on Rockingham Road earlier in the day.
According to the post, the man claimed to be from the City of Rockingham and said he was there to inspect the trees.
Police say the man is not affilated not with the city.
Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 911.
