Search continues for missing Anson County man

WADESBORO — Deputies in Anson County are asking for help locating a man who has been missing all week.

A Silver Alert was issued earlier this week for 86-year-old James Rogers Hannah.

He was last seen Monday, Aug. 19 on Winfree Road in Wadesboro.

Hannah is a white male, with gray hair and blue eyes. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds, according to the information provided.

He is believed to be driving a silver 2015 Toyota Corolla with the license plate number DHD-9434.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons had sent out an email Thursday cancelling the alert. However, the Anson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday afternoon that he is still missing.
