Vice President Mike Pence to Join Congressman Pittenger for Tax Reform Panel in Charlotte

WASHINGTON – Vice President Mike Pence will join Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09), Senator Thom Tillis, Lt. Governor Dan Forest, and other community leaders in Charlotte on Friday, April 20th for a panel discussion on the benefits of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

“The average North Carolina family will see an additional $2,000 in their paychecks this year.  Local companies including Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, Bank of America, Aquesta, and SteelFab have announced employee bonuses and pay increases as a result of tax reform,” said Congressman Pittenger.

“We are honored to welcome Vice President Pence to Charlotte to share stories of how tax reform is helping hardworking families and local businesses.” 

During the event, Congressman Pittenger will participate in a panel discussion on tax reform with: 

·        Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC)

·        Dan DiMicco, former CEO of Nucor

·        Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of the Job Creators Network 

The public is invited to join Congressman Pittenger and Vice President Pence for “Tax Cuts to Put America First” event on Friday, April 20th, 3:15 p.m., at The Park Expo and Conference Center, 800 Briar Creek Rd., in Charlotte.
