The Lady Raiders earned 50 points from 10 different events during the meet, with Harrison notching 10 individual points and five more as part of a relay victory.

Notching five points for each win, Harrison took first place in the 200-meter dash and the triple jump. As the second leg in the 4×200-meter relay, Harrison helped Richmond to a win in that event.

Along with teammates Andrea Ellerbe, Taylor Newton and Isis Covington, Harrison completed her portion of the two laps around the track in 1:43.35. That time was 8.37 seconds faster than second-place Scotland (1:51.72).

Competing in the triple jump, the lone event Harrison has yet to qualify in for regionals, she won with a final mark of 34 feet, 6 inches. Briana St. Louis of Union Pines placed second over two feet behind Harrison (32 feet, 3 inches).

Rounding out her big day near the end of the meet, Harrison went down to the finish line with Covington in the open 200 dash.

The pair of Lady Raiders placed first and second, with Harrison’s winning time clocking in at 25.30 seconds. Covington added three more points with a final time of 26.40 seconds.

To date, Harrison has qualified for regionals in the long jump, as well as a member of both the 4×100 and 4×200-meter relay teams.

The Lady Raiders will run in their final regular season SAC meet next Thursday at Pinecrest. Harrison and the team will begin events at 4 p.m.
