FAYETTEVILLE — As strong severe storms wreaked havoc across the Sandhills region Friday, the Richmond Senior High School football team will have to wait to try and redeem its 38-13 loss to No. 1 4AA powerhouse Wake Forest High School.
The Raiders (1-1) were scheduled to travel to Pine Forest High School (0-2) Friday to play in a non-conference matchup. Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, the school announced that the game had been canceled because of looming severe weather threats.
