ROCKINGHAM — Jayla McDougald, a senior point guard on the Richmond Senior High School girls’ basketball team, participates in this edition of Courtside Chats.

Joining sports editor Kyle Pillar, McDougald is one of several Lady Raider basketball players who has been participating in pre-season voluntary workouts. Head coach Teddy Moseley and his team have been holding training sessions for two weeks.

In her interview, McDougald, a three-year varsity player, walks viewers through some of the activities the team has been doing. She also explains how good it feels to be back together with her teammates for the first time since March and highlights what Moseley’s message has been to the team.
