“IN THE END ZONE” WITH DOMONIC TILLMAN

The Raiders defeated Lee County 24-13 on Friday and Tillman was helpful with two rushing touchdowns and one passing score. His contributions also helped secure a win on senior night.

His first score came at the end of a five-play, 15-yard drive on a designed quarterback run from four yards. That score made it 13-0 early in the second quarter.

To begin the second half, Tillman connected with senior wide receiver Javian Drake for a 16-yard passing touchdown. That capped a 75-yard scoring drive and grew Richmond’s lead to 20-7.

Once more late in the game, Tillman used his legs to rush into the end zone, this time from one yard. Following Billy West’s point-after attempt, it was the final score of the game.

Against the Yellow Jackets, Tillman was 16-of-24 passing for 150 yards and connected with six different receivers. His completions (16) were the second most in a game this year and his passing yards (150) were his third most in a game.

Tillman’s three total touchdowns matched his career-high for a single outing. He also had three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) against Hoke County High School earlier this month.

On the season, Tillman has completed 77-of-133 pass attempts (57.9 completion percentage) for 800 yards and five touchdown throws.

A dual-threat quarterback, Tillman has added 200 rushing yards on 63 carries and added six touchdowns on the ground.
