PINEHURST, N.C. – The Richmond Senior High School Lady Raiders golf team wrapped up its regular season Monday with a third-place finish at Pinehurst No. 5.

On its home course, Pinecrest High School took the top-place finish, with Jack Britt High School coming ahead of Richmond in second.

Lady Raider sophomore Hailey Miller was the top scorer for Richmond with a 100 overall.

The next stop for the Lady Raiders will be the regional tournament back at Pinehurst No. 5 on Monday, October 16th. Three members made the regional tournament: Miller, Natalie Davis and Dakota Stephens.

“The average to make it to state has been a 94 or 95 it seems,” head coach Jeff Ingram said. “Usually those scores will make it to state. We plan on practicing some more this week, and we will be practicing at Pinehurst No. 5 on Sunday to better our chances”.

Look for results in The Richmond Observer on Monday.
