ROCKINGHAM —The Beta Club is not the only group that will have the chance to travel to compete for a national title. Kids are making a difference around the county this summer by using their time wisely to take advantage of various opportunities. Hitting the mats at end of July at The Orleans Arena, Fame 4 and Platinum Elite will both compete for national titles.

Champions in Motion of Rockingham is a competitive All Star cheerleading team. They have been competing as a team for more than five years, and later this month, Coaches Cassie Tyler and Colby Patrick, will be taking 40 girls to the NYAA National Cheerleading Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The girls have been working countless hours to get ready for the big event,” Tyler said. “Both teams earned bids to attend nationals by placing high at state competitions, and we know the girls will rock nationals!”
