ROCKINGHAM — A slow start for the Richmond Senior High School junior varsity girls’ basketball team led to a loss Tuesday.

Richmond hosted Grace Christian School and lost 68-29 behind a running clock.

Sophomore Kaniah Little led the team in scoring with 11 points, with nine of those points coming on three-pointers.

The JV Lady Raiders’ other top scorers included freshmen Erin Drumwright (seven points) and Alexis Moseley (six points).

The JV Lady Raiders (1-2) will play against Pinecrest High School at home next Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
