PHOTOS: JV Raiders at Lee County

SANFORD — Chance Crowder and Yusaun Harrison led the scoring in the Richmond junior varsity boys’ basketball team’s win Friday.

Putting an end to their four-game losing streak, the JV Raiders defeated Lee County High School 50-38 on the road.

Crowder scored a game-high 19 points, netting 13 points in the first half. Harrison scored 11 points, playing a big role with 10 points in the fourth quarter.

The JV Raiders outscored the JV Yellow Jackets in every quarter but the third stanza. 

Five other players found the basket in the win — Elijah Perterkin (seven points), Josiah Brewington (five points), BJ Hinson and Makai King (three points each) and Kamarie Liles (two points).

The JV Raiders (7-7, 5-6 SAC) will finish their season next Friday at Scotland High School. Action will begin at 6 p.m.
