PHOTOS: JV Raiders at Myers Park

CHARLOTTE — Twenty-five points from sophomore guard Amer Morrison paced the Richmond junior varsity boys’ basketball team on Tuesday.

Despite the effort from the returning starter, the JV Raiders lost 52-45 on the road at Myers Park.

Adding 11 points was freshman Chance Crowder, who along with Morrison, attempted to switch the momentum late in the game.

Also getting on the board for Richmond were Elijah Peterkin (5 points), BJ Hinson (2 points) and Eric Lagrand (2 points).

The JV Raiders (0-1) and first-year head coach Travis Byers will play again on Dec. 5 against Pinecrest High School.
