ROCKINGHAM — A two-point halftime deficit couldn’t be overcome by the Richmond Senior High School junior varsity football team on Thursday.

Wrapping up their non-conference schedule, the JV Raiders lost 26-0 to Myers Park High School.

The JV Mustangs (1-2) led 2-0 at the break following a safety at the end of Richmond’s first drive.

Myers Park added a field goal and a touchdown in the third quarter, before breaking the game open with a pair of rushing scores in the final stanza.
