LAURINBURG — The Richmond junior varsity football team ended its season with a win Thursday.
On the road at Scotland High School, the JV Raiders won 28-7.
Scoring twice on the ground was freshman Ty Covington.
Fellow freshman Donovan Jones added a rushing score and freshman CJ Covington pulled in a touchdown reception from sophomore quarterback BJ Hinson.
Richmond led 14-7 at the half before tacking on two insurance scores in the final two quarters.
Intercepting a pass apiece were sophomores Kyngston Kirby and Alijah Flowers, both in the second half.

On the season, the JV Raiders went 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the SAC, finishing in second place.
