PHOTOS: JV Renegades vs. Southern Lee

ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond Renegade junior varsity baseball team finished Wednesday’s game in a 1-1 tie with Southern Lee.

Chase Woody threw a complete game and allowed just three hits and an earned run. He took a no-hitter into the sixth frame and added four strikeouts.

Jason Gainey recorded two of Richmond’s hits, including an RBI single in the fifth inning. Scoring on the play from third base was C.J. Jenkins, who had a single earlier in the frame.

The JV Renegades (1-1-2) will return to play at home on Thursday against Southern Lee. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
