PHOTOS: Lady Raiders at Myers Park

CHARLOTTE — Three quarters of close basketball was undone in the final eight minutes for the Lady Raiders on Tuesday.

Playing its second game in as many nights, Richmond lost 56-41 on the road at Myers Park High School.

Trailing by two points at the end of the first and second quarters, the Lady Raiders entered the final stanza down by five.

A 14-4 run by the Lady Mustangs (2-0) in the closing eight minutes sealed the loss.

Junior point guard Jamyia Lindsey netted a game-high 18 points for Richmond. Adding 10 points was freshman forward Madisen Jackson.

The Lady Raiders (1-2) will host non-conference Fairmont High School (1-0) next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
