PHOTOS: Lady Raiders vs. Fairmont

ROCKINGHAM — The Lady Raider varsity basketball team got back in the win column on Wednesday.

In a non-conference game against Fairmont High School, Richmond earned a 41-31 victory.

The defensive battle was led by a game-high 18 points from junior point guard Jamyia Lindsey, who also had four rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Helping on both ends of the floor was freshman forward Madisen Jackson. She scored six points and grabbed four boards.

Junior forward Rena Drake netted six points and senior forward Ryelan Lyerly added five points in the win.

Richmond (2-2) will play at Panther Creek High School (1-0), the reigning 4A state champion, on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
