ROCKINGHAM — Facing a reigning state champion Tuesday, the Richmond Senior High School girls’ basketball team couldn’t produce enough offense.
The Lady Raiders returned to their home court for the third time this season and lost 84-56 to Grace Christian School.
The Lady Crusaders, who won the 2024 NCISAA 3A state title, netted 10 three-pointers in the game.
Senior point guard Jamyia Lindsey was the only player for Richmond to net double figures, finishing the game with 26 points.

The Lady Raiders (2-3) begin Sandhills Athletic Conference play Friday at Southern Lee High School (2-2). Play will start at 6 p.m.
