ROCKINGHAM — Defense-to-offense and a single-game career-high by junior Jasiah Gilcrhist led to another running clock win for the Richmond Senior High School girls’ basketball team Friday.

Ending a three-game week, the Lady Raiders won their fifth straight game in a 67-23 decision over Hoke County High School.

Gilchrist netted the bucket with 5:10 left in the fourth quarter that put Richmond up 41 points and started the accelerated clock. She finished the game with 29 points.

Senior Jamyia Lindsey, who helped spearhead the defensive effort with Gilchrist and junior Olivia Brown, scored 18 points. Brown had 11 points, including a trio of three-pointers.
