ROCKINGHAM — The Lady Raider soccer team returned to the win column Wednesday.

Just 24 hours after suffering its first loss of the spring, Richmond rebounded with a 3-0 win over non-conference Whiteville High School.

Scoring two goals was freshman forward Mariana Gonzalez, and sophomore Ella Gibson netted one goal. It was the first career varsity goal for both players.

Junior goalkeeper Quanna Bostic played all but 14 minutes in goal to record the shared shutout. Freshman Bree Rape closed out the win.
