
ROCKINGHAM — Thirty-two drivers went head-to-head on Rockingham Speedway’s infield road course Saturday for “Back in the Ring,’ MB Drift’s first competitive round of 2023.
Last season’s winner, Justin Bauer, qualified first, followed by Wade Smith and Nick Abbott who qualified second and third, respectively.
The drivers made tandem runs in a bracket-style format, with the final battle coming down to Abbott and 2021 season winner Joe Busam.
