PHOTOS: NCHSAA 4A track and field state championship

GREENSBORO — Three student-athletes represented Richmond Senior High School in the NCHSAA 4A track and field state championship meet over the weeknd.

Held at North Carolina A&T State University, senior Emerson Wall, junior Tyrene Stanback and sophomore Aaron Coleman each competed in one event.

Coleman’s 11th-place mark in the 110-meter hurdles (15.23 seconds) was the best finish for Richmond.

Wall took 13th place in the triple jump (42 feet, 2 inches) and Stanback didn’t advance past the 6-foot mark in the high jump.

It was Coleman’s second straight year running in the championship meet, while Stanback and Wall each competed for the first time.
