ROCKINGHAM — Eclipsing the century mark Tuesday, the Richmond Raider basketball team made quick work in the first round of the postseason.
The No. 2 Raiders used a running clock to defeat No. 31 East Chapel Hill 104-47.
Richmond’s triple threat of seniors led the scoring, with Paul McNeil Jr. netting 32 points. Javian Drake scored a career-high 30 points and Jamarion Wall added 25 points.
As a team, the Raiders landed 16 three-pointers, one shy of tying the program’s single-game program record. McNeil Jr., Drake and Wall each had five triples, with David McNair scoring one.

The No. 2 Raiders (22-5) will play No. 15 Riverside-Durham (18-9) at home in the second round Friday at 7:30 p.m.
