PHOTOS: No. 5 Lady Raiders vs. No. 28 Cleveland, Round 1

ROCKINGHAM — Starting its playoff run Tuesday, the Richmond Senior High School girls basketball team advanced in the 4A East bracket.

The No. 5 Lady Raiders cruised to an 84-46 win over No. 28 Cleveland High School.

Leading the team in scoring were Jamyia Lindsey (30 points), Jasiah Gilchrist (18 points) and Madisen Jackson (16 points).

Richmond led by double-digits for most of the game, taking a 48-17 lead into the half. The team’s largest lead of the game was 38 points.

The No. 5 Lady Raiders (23-4) host No. 21 Leesville Road High School (17-6) Friday at 6 p.m. for the second round.
