ROCKINGHAM — The brightest stars in Richmond County gave back to the fans who have supported them throughout an historic season.

With 48 hours separating them from tip-off in the biggest game of their careers, Richmond Raider basketball players met with fans at a meet and greet at Striker’s Bowling Alley on Thursday.

Supporters of all ages got the chance to mingle with the Raiders players and coaches, get autographs, wish them luck ahead of Saturday’s 4A state championship game and take photos with the team.

Tip-off between Richmond and Myers Park High School is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The game will be played at the Dean E. Smith Center and Richmond fans are encouraged to sit in sections 100-108 and 126-133.

The school has also decided on a “gold out,” as Myers Park fans will wear green.
