ABERDEEN — The second senior night celebration of the 2023-24 winter sports season took place Thursday.

Richmond Senior High School’s boys’ and girls’ bowling teams participated in the ceremony ahead of their penultimate Sandhills Athletic Conference dual-meet.

Between the two teams this season, Richmond had five seniors — James Eason and Tobey Lunceford, along with Dakotah Tschudi (not present), Neely Turner and Katie Way.

The other five SAC programs that had teams this year — Hoke County, Pinecrest, Scotland, Southern Lee and Union Pines —  also celebrated senior night.

Joined by all of the SAC’s seniors, the two Raiders and three Lady Raiders were introduced in front of a full bowling alley and celebrated for their contributions to the program.

The Richmond Observer will publish results from Thursday’s matches when they’re made available.
