LAURINBURG — The Richmond Senior High School boys’ and girls’ bowling teams competed for the second time this season on Thursday.

Continuing Sandhills Athletic Conference play, the Raiders and Lady Raiders faced Hoke County and Union Pines high schools.

The Raiders bowled themselves their first two wins of the season. They defeated the Bucks 5-0 and followed with a 4-1 win over the Vikings.

In their two matches, the Lady Raiders lost a pair of close matchups. They came up short 3-2 in both competitions.

The Richmond Observer will publish articles recapping the Raiders’ (2-2) and Lady Raiders’ (1-3) matches on Friday.
