PHOTOS: Richmond swim teams practice ahead of new season

ROCKINGHAM — The sixth season of boys’ and girls’ swimming is officially underway for Richmond Senior High School.

Using the pool at FirstHealth Fitness, the Raiders and Lady Raiders are spending time preparing for another season under the direction of head coach Mike Way and assistant coach Andy Shuler.

During Monday’s practice, seven total swimmers participated in conditioning drills, relay mechanics and other fundamentals.

Richmond will open its season on Dec. 7 against other Sandhills Athletic Conference teams at St. Andrews University.
