ROCKINGHAM — Another win Friday night means another five players of the week have been named for the Richmond Senior High School football team.
This week’s recognition after a 21-10 victory at home over Myers Park High School features five first-time selections.
As part of their recognition, which is sponsored by Top Guns Strength and Performance gym, the five Raiders each received a t-shirt.
The players of the week are:
Offense: Jordan Bostick (senior running back)
Defense: Zach Gardner (senior defensive end)
Special Teams: Jake Veach (junior snapper)
Practice: Jordan Odom (senior offensive lineman)
Weight Room: Jason Gainey (junior linebacker
Head coach Brad Denson and the Richmond football staff select each week’s players.
Richmond (2-2) heads to Southern Lee High School Friday to begin Sandhills Athletic Conference play at Southern Lee. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
