ROCKINGHAM – As the 2017-2018 academic year wraps up this week with graduation set for Friday at Richmond Senior High School, several athletic programs are already ramping up for the upcoming fall sports season.

Several head coaching changes have been made in the last couple of weeks, including Chris Larsen taking over the boys and girls soccer programs. His wife, Ashleigh Larsen, was introduced as the new varsity volleyball coach last week, and former volleyball head coach Shellie Wimpey made the decision to transition to the head girls cross country coach.

Another head coaching change that was made official late last week was with the Lady Raider varsity basketball team. Former Rockingham Middle School head boys basketball coach Teddy Moseley was hired, replacing Rosalind McDonald after three seasons. The ROSports department will feature Moseley in a feature later this week.

One coaching position that hasn’t changed hands this season is the head football coach, and second-year coach Bryan Till’s team wrapped up spring practice just over a week ago. Noting that the Raiders are “so far ahead from where we were during spring practices last year” because the learning curve has been taken out, Till has a full summer schedule planned.

Below is a timeline for Richmond football. All locations are at RSHS unless otherwise noted:
