WAGRAM, N.C. – The Richmond Senior High School Lady Raiders golf team hosted its Sandhills Athletic Conference rivals today in a tournament at Deercroft Golf Club in Wagram.
The results were the same as last week’s tournament, with Pinecrest and Jack Britt high schools finishing in the top two spots, and Richmond coming in third.
The top Lady Raider of the tournament was Sophomore Hailey Miller, who shot a 92. Rounding out the rest of the Raiders were Natalie Davis, Dakota Stephens, and Taylor Graves.
“We had our moments,” Lady Raiders head coach Jeff Ingram said this about his team’s performance. “We had some good holes. I would love for the team to shoot under 400 consistently. If we get under 400, we could finish as high as second place.”
The Lady Raiders return to the links Monday, October 2, at Scotch Meadows Country Club which is located at 8100 Tartan Road, Laurinburg, N.C.
