One of six seniors on this year’s team, Tillman is known for her bubbly personality amongst her teammates and leadership on the sidelines.
As a back spot, Tillman’s job is to help stabilize a flyer during stunts and also helps catch her teammate if the stunt collapses.
The Richmond cheerleaders are preparing for the first round of the state football playoffs, and will begin cheering at basketball games when they begin later in November.
Also coming up for Tillman and the Lady Raider cheerleaders are three competitions, starting with the Sandhills Athletic Conference competition at Lee County on Nov. 19. That will be followed by NCHSAA states on Dec. 3 and NCCCA states in February.
