ROCKINGHAM — With the Thanksgiving holiday just a couple days away, ROSports met with members of the Richmond Senior High School football, boys’ basketball and girls’ basketball teams to see what players are thankful for this year.

The football team, which will be playing in the third round of the state playoffs for the second consecutive season, has a lot of hard work to be thankful for. Only two wins separate the Raiders from playing for a state championship.

On the basketball court, both the Raiders and Lady Raiders are off to a strong start, winning both games against Anson High School to start the season. It’s the first time since the start of the 2012 season both squads are off to 2-0 starts.
