Title Town: Dieffenbach Chevrolet wins coach pitch championship

ROCKINGHAM — Another champion was crowned on Friday following the conclusion of the Rockingham Parks and Rec baseball season.

The Dieffenbach Chevrolet team won the coach pitch title, defeating Quick & Sinclair Electric by a final score of 13-3. 

Eli Taylor hit a three-run triple in the game, which was played at Bynum Park. 

Having a big night at the plate to seal the championship was Lucas Allred, who had a home run and a triple with six runs batted in.

Bryson Hinson, Beckham Lill and Cash McDonald each had a single for Dieffenbach Chevrolet.

Coached by Brent and Bopper Lill, Dieffenbach Chevrolet finished the season with a perfect 10-0 record. The team was also named the regular-season champions after an 8-0 mark.
