ELLERBE — A couple of heavy hitters came out to Richmond County on Tuesday to encourage voters to choose Republicans in the upcoming election.

ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond County Health Department has reported another COVID-related death, making it the 17th since the pandemic began.

HAMLET — Richmond Community College will once again be honoring veterans this fall with an Our Heroes’ Tree display. Although the College will not be able to have a service this year, RichmondCC wants to make this special event available for community members to reflect, rejoice and remember those who have and are currently serving in the military. 

RALEIGH — The State Board of Elections on Tuesday announced changes to the absentee voting process to make it easier for a voter to fix problems with their absentee ballot.

ROCKINGHAM — About half of the new COVID-19 cases in Richmond County reported on Monday came from one place — Morrison Correctional Institution in Hoffman.
